Softball Strength and Conditioning
Softball Catching/Slap Hitting Instructor
Brooklyn is a certified strength and conditioning coach with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science and 4 years of professional experience working with athletes across various sports. As a lifelong learner with a passion for athletic development, she specializes in designing programs that build resilient, robust players who can excel physically in their positions. Brooklyn constantly seeks innovative ways to grow as a practitioner and takes pride in building strong, lasting relationships with the athletes she works with.
Her journey started as a collegiate softball player at McCook Community College, where she set NJCAA Region 9 Division I records for stolen bases and throw-outs at second base. After her sophomore year, she transferred to Oklahoma State, but her playing career was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. While this unexpected turn ended Brooklyn’s time as an athlete, it also led her to discover her passion for coaching.
Since then, Brooklyn has had the privilege of coaching athletes across a wide range of sports. While she truly enjoys working with baseball and softball players, she’s also worked with teams and athletes from Weber State’s softball, football, golf, tennis, and cross-country programs. Her experience also includes coaching Utah lacrosse, the Utah Wild ultimate frisbee team, an Olympian bobsledder, and Olympus High School’s water polo team.
Brooklyn is fortunate to have been mentored by Pat Robles, the Phillies’ MLB baseball Pitching coach, and Dale Lloyd, former strength and conditioning coach for the Jaguars NFL team. Their guidance has inspired her to continually push the limits of her knowledge and expertise, all while fostering a love for sport in the athletes she trains.
